Our computer controlled access systems are linked to an electronic door, ensuring only authorised people have access to your safe & secure unit. Any unauthorised access is immediately detected and the alarm activated.
We've also got the following in place as standard to provide a secure storage solution to our customers:
- Smoke alarms - Smoke detectors have been installed to ensure early detection if there is a problem, and are monitored 24/7. Self Storage Gisborne is a non smoking site.
- CCTV Systems - Cameras have been strategically placed in and outside the facility to help us keep an eye on things. The images are recorded and retained for a period for added security.
- Security Alarms - To detect any unauthorised access.

Access
Access is directly off Disraeli Street, and for Makaraka, access is off the main road, with drive through access exiting through Halbert St.
Articulated furniture removal trucks of up to 60ft long are easily able to access our secure storage solutions, as shown in the photos below. A covered in-truck port allows for goods to be unloaded under cover to most units.
